The project occupies an entire wing of an old, storied building: in the 19th century, the famous engineer Vladimir Shukhov worked on his drawings here.
Out of respect for the site, it was important to preserve historic details — the stone flooring, cast-iron columns, pre-revolutionary brick, and even 1950s newspapers found under a layer of paint. Custom furniture was also created for the project from individual sketches.
