Animal Shelter

Shelter typology had never been examined from an architectural standpoint before — we had to study and design everything from scratch. The goal was to create not just a comfortable place for temporary animal care, but a point of attraction for their future owners.

The shelter becomes a genuine zen park and an open recreational space. We drew on ideas from Japanese architecture: lightweight structures, wood paneling, and natural simplicity in the layout. The shelter's grounds combine pavilions for dogs and cats, separate buildings for sterilization and vaccination, and spaces for visitors and animals to spend time together.
